The shift to summer time, rising temperatures, increasingly blue skies—the signs are clear: the fine weather is back, and with it the ceremonial season. Birthdays, weddings, civil partnerships, engagements: celebrations aplenty traditionally brighten the summer months.
In anticipation of the festivities set to enliven your summer, we have carefully brought together our most elegant garments.
A selection dedicated to lightness and refinement, designed to gracefully dress these unforgettable moments.
Attire worthy of the occasion.
The summer suit by Hast: a compendium.
The height of elegance, our two-piece suits follow the most classical tradition and scrupulously uphold the codes of tailoring. Made up of a matching jacket and trousers in the same fabric, they are both the most understated and the most formal, making them the primary choice for lovers of classic style.
For the warm season, we offer three graceful and lightweight iterations:

- Our trio of linen suits. Proudly French, France is the world's leading producer of this gifted fibre. Soft and hypoallergenic, comfortable and resilient, antibacterial and breathable, eco-friendly and easy to care for, capable of absorbing 20% of its weight in water, it is universally acclaimed as the queen of summer fabrics. Unsurprisingly, we have tailored three suits ready to face the summer heat. Here they are:
- A midnight blue herringbone ensemble composed of pleated trousers and a half-canvassed double-breasted jacket . If its striking peak lapel looks familiar, it is simply because we borrowed it from its counterpart released for our 10th anniversary .

- A deep green suit combining a single-breasted two-button jacket and its matching double-pleated trousers. Bringing together a timeless garment with a distinctive shade.
- A striking ecru suit whose colour and elegant lines will ensure you take the prize for the most remarkable outfit. In the best sense of the word.

The workwear suit, for an offbeat elegance
Reading the word ‘suit’, we imtely think of the traditional uniform that has flourished for over two centuries. Yet a suit is nothing more than an ensemble cut from the same cloth, offering far more freedom than it might seem.
With this idea in mind, this season we have introduced a duo of ‘workwear’ suits, bridging the gap between utilitarian heritage and tailoring codes. Here, workwear cues coexist with formal tailoring, creating an unexpected and refreshing result.
A natural hybrid that effortlessly marries character and delicacy.

Available in beige herringbone and solid blue, it makes a prime choice for those who appreciate subtle contrast.
Our Manufacture Métis capsule
The fruit of an exceptional collaboration between Manufacture Métis, based in eastern France, and yours truly, this two-piece suit features a forestière jacket and double-pleated trousers with a regular fit and mid-rise waist.
Cut from a French fabric crafted in 55% cotton and 45% linen, they form a luminous duo to be worn together or apart.
A love letter to French textile heritage and a wonderful stylistic departure, this two-piece stands somewhere between art and craftsmanship, to the delight of fine fabric connoisseurs.
The unique appeal of our unstructured jacket
This model is not a suit strictly speaking, but it was impossible not to mention it. Tailored by a specialist workshop in Portugal, this unlined jacket is distinguished by its refined side vents and delightful 60% wool and 40% linen fabric.
Lightweight, breathable and thermoregulating, this rare blend offers a prime alternative for composing formal outfits without the risk of overheating.
Why not dare to wear suit shorts?
For the first time at Hast, this season you will find
Naturally, the shorts we are talking about are a distinct breed, far removed from those you might be used to. Length, sharp pressed creases, double pleats, side placket, ticket pocket: every detail speaks of the formal realm, allowing you to pair a formal jacket with this typically casual piece without the slightest clash.

The finishing touch to your ceremonial outfit
While a suit is essential for any event worthy of the name, styling it properly is just as crucial. To complement the tailoring outlined above, choosing pieces of matching calibre in style and sophistication is essential.
From head to toe, we suggest as a guide:
- Our sensational loafers, crafted in collaboration with French shoemaker Septième Largeur.

- Our reversible cowhide leather belt, for versatile elegance.

- A discreet yet striking pocket square.

- A tie handmade in Italy.

- A pair of sunglasses made in France, even if you are more likely to dazzle than be dazzled.
And you are ready to go.
