Our commitments

We view our profession with total sincerity. We
we constantly strive to be as transparent as possible in our
communication and our production process. At Hast, our passion for
clothing is undeniable, but we also aspire to produce it from the
in the most respectful manner possible, in accordance with our ethical values and
environmental.

PACKAGING
We have been committed for several years to limiting the use of single-use plastic, aware of the devastating impact of these materials on the environment. In partnership with the company TIPA, we were the pioneers in the integration of fully compostable packaging in the fashion industry in France. This collaboration illustrates our strong commitment to providing sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions.

Likewise, our logistician opted for boxes made from 70% recycled cardboard, which themselves are entirely recyclable. This initiative allows us to minimize our ecological footprint while promoting the transition to a circular economy. By taking these concrete measures, we position ourselves as responsible actors in reducing plastic pollution and preserving our planet for future generations.
Upcycling
It is undeniable that textile production often generates a significant quantity of fabric scraps. Aware of this reality, at Hast, we have taken the initiative to transform these downfalls into opportunities. Indeed, from the start, we considered reusing fabric scraps from the production of our shirts to transform them into upcycled boxer shorts.

This innovative approach allows us not only to reduce our ecological footprint by avoiding material waste, but also to create a new quality product. By giving a second life to these fabric scraps, we contribute to the recovery of resources and the promotion of a circular economy in the fashion sector. This approach illustrates our deep commitment to sustainability and our desire to rethink the way clothing is produced and consumed.
SOLIDARITY
Social engagement is at the heart of our mission at Hast. We firmly believe in the importance of contributing positively to the society around us.

First of all, like all brands, and even if we try to produce as close as possible to demand, we always have a small stock of unsold items. We donate these unsold items to associations such as La Cravate Solidaire, which facilitates access to formal clothing for people looking for work. This action allows us to give a second life to our clothes while helping those who need it most to integrate professionally.
CARBON FOOTPRINT
In 2020, we undertook an ambitious project to assess our carbon footprint with the aim of analyzing and reducing CO2 emissions arising from our activity. Understanding and quantifying our environmental impact not only allows us to better understand our contributions to climate change, but also to take concrete steps to mitigate it. The production of clothing inevitably causes an environmental impact linked to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Therefore, we have carried out a detailed assessment of the carbon footprint of each aspect of our activities, with the ambitious objective of significantly reducing this footprint by 2030. We firmly believe that this approach is crucial for sustainability of our company and for the preservation of the environment. In addition, in order to promote transparency and consumer engagement, we have integrated a dedicated section into our product sheets where our customers can find the environmental impact of each product, thus providing essential information for informed purchasing choices. .
