This jacket features a sumptuous emerald green fabric, a blend of wool and silk. Inspired by shantung, a wild silk native to the Shantung region, the silk gives this jacket fine irregularities and a subtle, lively texture.
It offers a balance between formal elegance and authentic texture. A strong piece, designed for those seeking to combine character, materiality, and light.
It should be noted that since silk is a difficult material to work with, the workshop had to proceed piece by piece when cutting, a practice normally reserved for luxury brands.
Originally intended for the workshops of a French luxury house, the fabric of this work jacket is now living a second life with Hast, thanks to Nona Source, a platform supported by LVMH.
