Start by checking the waist and thighs: you should feel comfortable both standing and sitting. Don’t size up just for extra length: a hem alteration will let you adjust how the trousers fall over your shoes.
Exchanges are free in metropolitan France.

Underwear cannot be exchanged or refunded unless returned unworn and intact in its original packaging.

Black wool flannel suit comprising a half-canvassed jacket and double-pleated trousers cut from the same Italian flannel. The exceptionally fine fabric has a subtle texture that catches the light without appearing shiny. The jacket’s internal structure ensures a clean drape season after season; the trousers sit slightly high on the waist, with a regular fit and a little room through the leg.
Black flannel softens the formality of a dark suit: it works as well for evenings as it does for days that call for dressing up.
