Craftsmanship

We showcase garments with classic, elegant, and precise cuts. Special attention is paid to the selection of fabrics, meticulously chosen from renowned mills. Hast offers a timeless menswear wardrobe, blending
classic tailoring and formal pieces with a more contemporary and casual wardrobe, showcased throughout our seasonal collections.

Our materials
Since our creation in 2012, the Hast wardrobe has been crafted exclusively from natural or recycled materials. We make a point of prioritising fibres such as wool, linen, cotton, as well as more technical blends like linen-cotton-ramie.

We attach great importance to the quality of the fabrics and jerseys used to make our pieces. Natural materials offer numerous benefits, notably increased longevity over time, natural breathability for optimal comfort, and resistance to odours and bacteria. Furthermore, they are biodegradable, which helps reduce the environmental footprint of our garments over time. By choosing natural materials, we commit to offering our customers high-quality garments that are respectful of the environment and a pleasure to wear.
OUR WORKSHOPS
At the heart of Hast's values lies the commitment never to yield to the pitfalls of an entirely offshored fashion industry. We produce 99% of our garments in manufacturing workshops based in Europe. With the exception of our work jackets, which are made in a French workshop with a branch in Tunisia, we strive to prioritise European production and limit unnecessary transit as much as possible.

Manufacturing in Europe offers many advantages. It allows us to guarantee high social and environmental standards throughout the entire production chain. In addition, geographical proximity with our manufacturing partners facilitates communication and quality control. By supporting European industry, we also contribute to sustaining local craftsmanship and preserving jobs within our communities.
Trust is at the heart of our work. For nearly ten years now, we have been working with workshops across the four corners of Europe. Portugal, Italy, the Baltic States, France or Scotland: we seek out craftsmanship wherever it thrives to bring you the finest garments.
