What should we understand by a men’s long-sleeve-length shirt? Does it refer to the length of the shirt itself? The collar? The sleeves? Does this specific option alter the garment’s fit or shoulder width? Are all Hast shirts available in a long-sleeve-length version? Who exactly are they intended for? These may not be quite existential questions, but they are nonetheless essential when choosing a shirt.

For example, in size 38 and in a classic fit, the sleeve length is 79,5 cm in the standard version and 84,5 cm in the extended sleeve-length version, a difference of 5 cm. In a casual fit, sizes use a slightly different nomenclature. In medium size (M), there is a difference of 3 cm between the regular shirt (79 cm) and the men’s long-sleeve-length shirt (82 cm). What is a men’s long-sleeve-length shirt?
Men with a particularly tall, slender or simply large build know it better than anyone. When they buy a shirt, in 95 % of cases, the most visible problem — and the hardest to solve with a sewing machine — comes from the sleeves. Our range of men’s long-sleeve-length shirts is particularly easy to identify. Refer to the label, where you will find a fraction with the shirt size (for example 38) as the numerator. If a capital L appears to the right of the size, the shirt in question has an extended sleeve length. To find out whether you really need a long-sleeve-length shirt, nothing could be simpler: • Start by taking out a tape measure (or simply a ruler, if sewing is not your forte). • Choose a shirt from your wardrobe • Take your measurement from the collar stand to the end of the sleeve • Compare the measurement with that of our regular shirts and our long-sleeve-length shirtsPlease note
