Read time 1

Above the ponds, above the valleys,
Mountains, woods, clouds, seas,
Beyond the sun, beyond the ethers,
Beyond the confines of the starry spheres,

My mind, you move with agility,
And, like a good swimmer who swoons in the waves,
You happily roam the deep immensity
With an unspeakable and masculine voluptuousness.

Fly far away from these morbid miasmas
Go purify yourself in the upper air,
And drink, like a pure and divine liquor,
The clear fire that fills the clear spaces.

Behind the troubles and vast sorrows
Who burden the foggy existence with their weight,
Happy is he who can with a vigorous wing
To rush towards the bright and serene fields;

He whose thoughts, like larks,
Towards the skies in the morning take free flight,
— Who hovers over life, and understands effortlessly
The language of flowers and silent things!

Charles Baudelaire The Flowers of Evil (1861)

It’s time to make room for emotion. More intuition, more sensations, less reason. Call on your senses and trust them. Named “Elevation” in reference to the poem by Charles Baudelaire, the Fall-Winter 20-21 collection invites us to rethink our way of life and take the time to observe, touch and feel what surrounds us.

Above the ponds, above the valleys,
Mountains, woods, clouds, seas,
Beyond the sun, beyond the ethers,
Beyond the confines of the starry spheres

Clothing is imagined as a form of self-extension, which represents us as much as it protects us, and which thus allows us to transmit our values. Choosing noble and resistant materials, a cut that fits perfectly on our body and a garment that accompanies us for a long time, is choosing to elevate ourselves in order to free ourselves.
