Spring is one of those times of year when it can be particularly difficult to find the right balance in terms of clothing. From one day to the next, everything can change. Sometimes we need technical pieces that can withstand wind and rain. Then on sunny days, it's lighter clothes that are easy to put on that are sought after. This is a canvas with thick threads and a relatively airy weave – and therefore ideal for evacuating heat – while having a sufficient density to block the breeze. The threads are composed of 80% linen and 20% cotton, allowing good thermoregulation, but also excellent resistance over time, linen being a resistant fiber that does not tend to deform (linen and hemp are among the oldest fibers cultivated in textiles). In short: this jacket was designed in a high-quality material, made to be worn repeatedly.

The workshop that made this canvas is a particularly responsible Italian company, with strong commitments, such as the reuse of waste water, electricity from solar energy, and the development of more environmentally friendly materials, thanks to the recycling of materials.

The material – which is here a linen and cotton canvas and not a cotton serge – however changes the general appearance of this jacket: more flexible, lighter and more sophisticated too. The patch pockets have been replaced by bellows pockets, inspired by the Sahara. They are aesthetic, but also very practical when it comes to carrying keys, card holder, lighter and phone.
