L'équipe Hast sur son 31

The Hast team dressed to the nines

3 min read

Right to the end, this year has been unusual. But if we told you it still has a few surprises in store, would you believe us?

As we are not used to being photographed, we gave it a go. For the challenge it represents, and with the desire to inspire and surprise you too (yes, some looks are rather bold). Go on, scroll through!

Samy, Head of Communications & Marketing

Raw denim, aged over time.

Nubuck Desert Boots.

An elegant vintage watch.

Can you tell us about your outfit?

" I don’t like looks that are too formal; I tend to wear shirts with a more rugged feel, such as flannels or denim. But a little over a year ago, Thomas introduced me to dobby, a rather formal fabric with real texture. It rekindled my taste for a more sophisticated style.

Here, I chose to wear it with rather dark workwear pieces for a strong contrast. My style is fairly understated, but I have a lot of fun with textures."

Can you tell us about your look?

« I never miss an opportunity to wear a dress shirt, whether it’s for dinner, the theatre or the festive season. Of course, this year I’ve worn casual shirts more often than dress shirts, so even if the end of the year is unusual, I decided to treat myself to a more considered look.

I love distinctive collars like this club collar, which instantly gives a striking look. I paired it with a grey flannel suit, which has the advantage of being both smart and incredibly comfortable. For accessories, I chose a burgundy tie and pocket square, which subtly complement my Derbies. »

How do you wear a men’s shirt?

« I had somewhat given up on the idea of wearing shirts, and my recent arrival at Hast made me rediscover menswear, which ultimately works well with my style! I love the “boyfriend shirt” feel of a slightly oversized shirt, which I find elegant!

I chose an immaculate shirt with a mandarin collar, a delicate style. I wear it with a wool work jacket whose texture I love, and my vintage blue trousers, a statement piece. To finish, a pair of black heeled ankle boots, which adds a feminine touch to the look. »

Navy pleated trousers in Italian wool cloth.

A pair of brown Brogues

A large watch with a gold dial

Do you often wear a dress shirt?

" I admit that since joining Hast, I’ve been wearing them more and more! Here, I’m wearing my favourite: an Easy Iron pinpoint shirt from Thomas Mason, which has the great advantage of hardly creasing. As someone who likes everything to fall perfectly, it saves me a lot of headaches (laughs). The other revelation of the year was these pleated trousers, which I never take off. They are incredibly elegant yet truly comfortable. I often wear them with a merino wool jumper and trainers. Even if the festive season will not be as social this year, I feel like dressing up and embracing French elegance."

A dress shirt with trainers?

« Yes, I’m living proof that it works wonderfully in style terms! I don’t wear dress shirts all that often, but I can’t give up my trainers! And no exception for the festive season.

For the occasion, I opted for a blue striped dress shirt, which I pair with my green corduroy jacket, jeans and classic white trainers: it helps break up the rather sophisticated style of the shirt and gives the outfit a smart casual feel. »
