For over 10 years, Hast has been dedicated to crafting exceptional menswear for everyday life. With passion and honesty, we design timeless collections from fine materials, entirely natural or recycled.
True to this philosophy, we partnered with Nona Source to create an intimate capsule collection defined by luxury and responsibility. 7 exceptional limited-edition pieces, designed as a tribute to fine craftsmanship and circularity.
Nona Source, the ultimate reference for luxury materials
Launched in 2021, Nona Source is the first digital platform dedicated to revaluing materials from the LVMH group. In particular, it offers deadstock fabrics from prestigious luxury houses such as Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Dior, Céline, and Fendi.
A pioneer in creative circularity, Nona Source enables industry players to access exceptional materials at a lower cost, whilst reducing their environmental footprint.
Sharing these values of eco-consciousness and this vision of sustainable fashion, Hast partnered with the company to reawaken some of these sleeping beauties for a unique capsule collection. 7 pieces cut from prestigious fabrics, celebrating responsibility, the value of existing materials, and artisanal craftsmanship.
Hast, a tribute to fabric
A celebration of a distinct vision of elegance, the Hast wardrobe embodies values that have remained unchanged since 2012. An eye for style, global awareness, integrity in our approach, and honesty in our message guide our actions as much as our designs.
Convinced that a responsible wardrobe must be sustainable right down to the fibre, we make it a point of honour to select the finest materials available.
Usually reserved for the world of luxury, the fabrics we have chosen for the 7 pieces in this capsule carry this ambition higher than ever.
A certain vision of luxury
Chosen for their richness and peerless quality, the fabrics featured here also reflect our idea of luxury. For us, luxury is not merely splendour and grandeur, but refinement and sensibility. Because beauty and integrity go hand in hand, this capsule is much more than an aesthetic exercise. For Hast, it represents the reaffirmation of a commitment to production that respects both people and the planet. The new luxury will be ethical, or it will not be.
The HAST x Nona Source capsule collection
With our appetites whetted by these starters, let us move on to the main course. Without further ado, let us unveil the 7 gems of this exceptional capsule:
1. A two-piece suit in wool and silk cady. The ultimate staple of the classic wardrobe, the suit is an icon that we have tailored here in a mesmerising fabric. Blending 73% wool and 27% silk, it combines the dry handle of wool with the lustrous sheen of silk to deliver a feel that is both structured and fluid. Woven near Milan and unearthed in the archives of a renowned French fashion house, it catches the light beautifully and elevates the most classic of menswear pieces. Cut from the very same rolls of cloth, the trousers and matching double-breasted jacket offer a two-piece worthy of Haute Couture, at ready-to-wear prices.
2. A grey cashmere and cotton overshirt. A nod to our shirtmaking expertise, this long-sleeved piece is crafted from a luxurious 70% cashmere and 30% cotton fabric to offer you pure softness and comfort. Combining the practical durability of cotton with the delightful tenderness of down, this piece is an invitation to unwind. Snuggled in this delicate cloth, you will have only one thing in mind: staying there.

3. A stunning Balmacaan coat in basketweave wool. Look closely: a true masterpiece. We have revisited the enveloping cut of our now renowned Balmacaan coat, tailoring it this time in a fabric usually reserved for the finest fashion houses. Sourced from the deadstocks of an esteemed French institution, this basketweave wool, woven in Leeds (England) by a century-old mill, is a forgotten treasure of Haute Couture. Specialised in tweed, the mill behind this marvel uses fibres sourced from certified farms, ensuring impeccable and consistent quality. From the British spinning mill to the Hast workshops, via luxury cutting tables and the expert hands of Nona Source, this sumptuous fabric tells a story of craftsmanship, heritage, and transmission.
4. An alluring work jacket cut from the same cloth. Tailored from the same basketweave wool cloth as the Balmacaan, this jacket will feel instantly familiar to owners of Hast work jackets. And with good reason: its lines are entirely identical, featuring a pair of patch pockets, four buttons, and a generous collar straight out of the 1950s. Add to that this remarkable English fabric discovered in the vaults of a French luxury icon, and you have everything you need for winter.
5. A beige grain de poudre virgin wool overshirt and trousers duo. A distant cousin of the suit, this set steps into tailoring territory by pairing two matching pieces. Overshirt and trousers are crafted from a virgin wool cloth woven in a “grain de poudre” weave, a technique that gives the fabric a crisp, granular texture. We owe it to an Italian mill nestled between Verona and Venice, run by the same family since the 19th century. Perfectly balanced, the understated elegance of the pleated trousers tempers the bold character of a military-inspired overshirt; whilst the “uniform” feel is softened by the subtle texture of this unique fabric. Together or apart, these two creations are sure to turn heads.
A final word
Unique pieces in a limited-edition collection, the designs in the HAST x Nona Source capsule embody the precious union of art and material. When the pinnacle of textile craftsmanship meets mindful eco-consciousness, the result is truly remarkable… and unmissable.
