Our new online store!

3 min read

"Hast was founded online in 2012, at a time when the menswear scene lacked well-crafted essentials at a reasonable price. Back then, we were three recent graduates in need of shirts for work, but nothing met our standards in terms of value for money. Since then, we have consistently maintained the same positioning, the same uncompromising standards of quality, and full control over our costs—whether for our shirts or the development of a more complete wardrobe, such as our blazers or chinos.

Today, we wanted to enhance your online experience, ensuring it meets your expectations as well as our ambitions, and truly reflects the quality of our products and services.

We truly hope you enjoy the new Hast experience! »

2019 is undeniably a year of change for Hast. After introducing new pieces with our enduring commitment to quality, and opening a new Parisian boutique, it was time to unveil our new online store! For months, we have been working on this new website to provide a smoother, more intuitive browsing experience. You will gain a clearer insight into our philosophy and approach. Through this updated aesthetic, we wanted to reaffirm our identity: an accessible brand, both classic and innovative, dedicated to ancestral craftsmanship as well as modern tailoring techniques.

We wanted to reaffirm our identity: that of an accessible brand, both classic and innovative.

Because we were born online and it remains our main storefront, we have redesigned our website so that every piece is showcased at its best, allowing you to almost touch the materials and feel the drape of the fabrics between your fingers. We have reworked our product page formats with on-model photography and new videos (#merveille). Descriptions for each item are also more detailed to help you make the best choice.

We have also made a few changes to the names of our fits. The "classic" fit now replaces the "fitted" cut, and the "tailored" fit replaces the "extra-fitted" cut. These terms are more accurate. But don't worry: apart from the names, the cuts remain exactly the same! To give you time to adjust, we will display the previous fit names on each of our product pages.

Consistently higher-quality content.

This was one of our major projects: while we are first and foremost a brand, many of you read our articles in the journal. And that is all the more rewarding because we love sharing our projects and talking about each piece in detail. Our journal is taking on a more editorial look, to better showcase the passion behind the development of our brand. The content will also become increasingly comprehensive, featuring expert contributors to discuss societal topics surrounding the shirt and DNVBs. Stay tuned!

A new collaborations page has been created. Following an increasing number of professional collaboration requests, we decided to make it easier for businesses to get in touch. With nearly 7 years of experience behind us, we now have greater possibilities in terms of both development and production capacity. By the way, did you know we dress all the venues of the Experimental Group (Hôtel des Grands Boulevards, Grand Pigalle, Balagan, The Beef Club, Experimental Cocktail Club…)? We look forward to working with you!

We have also decided to highlight those who talk about Hast. We keep a low profile, prioritising product quality over expensive marketing campaigns, which is why you rarely see us on television. However, a select group of discerning magazines and figures follow Hast with keen interest, and we are proud to be recognized as a reliable and desirable brand. They talk about us, so we are talking about them.

Transparency remains at the heart of our project.

Our project began in 2012 with a few shirts. Today, Hast has evolved into a broader brand, offering an increasingly complete wardrobe. Each piece is crafted with the same vision as in our early days: impeccable craftsmanship at accessible prices, and transparency across our value chain. Discover our suppliers and manufacturing workshops, as well as our values, on our new About Us page! We will share more very soon, but a dedicated page explaining our approach to more responsible fashion will launch shortly, allowing you to follow our progress.
